My experience from TM has taught me to have a better understanding of my mind/body connection. The saying "You are what you eat" reigns true for the saying "How you think, is how you act." As I write in my book, "Butterfly Girl", MY LUPUS JOURNEY attitude and perception is everything that affects your life.

I believe we need to nurture our minds as well as our bodies on a daily basis. The body/mind are one. Being kind, loving, calm, and focused are all elements that allow us to become whole as a person. My definition of being whole is someone who is healthy both mentally and physically. This is what Transcendental Mediation has done for me.
